Why should I use B2Bpay?
With B2Bpay you are rewarded for doing what all businesses need to do – paying your bills and getting paid. But that’s not the only benefit. B2Bpay also saves you time, helps you manage and keep track of your payments, boosts your cash flow, reduces data entry with automatic recording to Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks, and provides easy to use reports. Benefits that all contribute to the success of your business. When you connect your accounting software, you can view and pay all your bills via a direct feed from the Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks. Is B2Bpay safe?
Yes. B2Bpay is a secure online system, hosted by Microsoft in its Sydney and Melbourne data centres.  Our solution is level 1 PCI DSS compliant. Data is encrypted and your credit card details are tokenised for maximum security so that card numbers are never stored in full.

Do I need to register to use B2Bpay?
Yes. It’s free to get set up to make payments and will only take you one minute. Once set up, you can quickly and easily add billers, make one-off or multiple payments, schedule payments for a future date, keep track of previously made payments, monitor your Qantas Points and access reports to upload to your accounting system. What billers can I pay using B2Bpay?
You can pay all your billers using B2Bpay. Over 30,000 billers from a broad range of industries are already set up for you to pay using B2Bpay. And if one of your billers is not already on this list, simply select ‘Add new biller’ and provide their details. B2Bpay forwards your payment to your biller by EFT or BPAY – the same way as if you paid them direct. Some restrictions apply based on standard credit card rules; for example, you cannot use a credit card to pay for finance or credit, to make payments to yourself or a related business entity or for illegal activities.
What payment methods are accepted?
You can pay all your billers using your existing credit or debit card. B2Bpay accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club. You can use the same card to pay all your billers, or nominate different cards for particular billers. The ‘My Wallet’ page enables you to maintain and manage the cards you use to pay your billers.
What if my biller doesn’t accept credit card?
That’s not a problem. One of the benefits of B2Bpay is that you can pay all your billers using your credit card – even if your biller doesn’t accept credit card directly or makes paying by card difficult. This is because B2Bpay passes on your payment to your biller by BPAY or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) in the same way as if you paid them yourself.
How do I know if my biller has received my payment?
B2Bpay passes on your payment to your biller within 3 business days. On your ‘Payment History’ page under “Settlement Date” is the date that your payment settles to your biller.
What does B2Bpay cost?
There is no cost to join B2Bpay and no fees other than a normal tax-deductible card processing fee. The applicable card processing fee replaces any surcharge or MSF charged by the biller and the fee is displayed when you add your card details and before you confirm a one-off payment. Visa / Mastercard standard cards: 1.2%  (after company tax deduction: 0.84%) Visa / Mastercard premium and corporate cards: 1.55%  (after tax deduction: 1.09%) American Express cards: 2.2% (after tax deduction 1.54%) Diners Club cards: 2.4%  (after tax deduction: 1.68%) Different fees (or no fees) may apply with some billers. The c ard processing fee will always be displayed prior to processing online payments. All fees exclude GST B2Bpay provides you with a Tax Invoice for the card processing fee so you can access company tax deductions (talk to your accountant for advice). Different fees (or no fees) may apply with some billers. When you use B2Bpay to receive payments, there is no cost to you (unless you choose to absorb the card processing fees).
What payment reports are available?
On your ‘Payment History’ page you can view comprehensive details of all your payments made using B2Bpay. You can filter payments by processing date, settlement (to your biller) date and even report on all payments this month / financial year / etc.
If required, you can download your payment history to a CSV file (Excel) or an OFX file to integrate with systems including Xero and MYOB (this is only required if you haven’t connected your accounting software and need to manually record payments).
What is the ‘B2Bpay Clearing Account’?
This is an account that is automatically created in your software system when you connect the software system to B2Bpay. It is used as a virtual account to ensure that we can correctly allocate and reconcile the payments (both the bill amount and the processing fee) in your software system. You do not need to perform any reconciliation actions in your B2Bpay Clearing Account.
When you make a payment, three transactions will be created in the B2Bpay Clearing Account – one for the total amount charged to your card and two contra transactions, split into the bill amount (to mark the bill as paid) and the B2Bpay processing fee (to record the processing fee as an Expense).
What do I need to do to reconcile when I make a payment?
Not much! Our integration will automatically record and reconcile your payment of the bill and the B2Bpay processing fee (as an Expense). The only action you need to do in your software system is to reconcile the total transaction amount in your Payment Account – this is the account in your software system that you selected for B2Bpay to record payments that you make.
How do I earn reward points?
Credit card reward points: Use a credit card with a rewards program and you’ll earn credit card reward points (or airline points) every time you pay a bill using B2Bpay. Points are earned as per the terms of your card’s reward program and are added to your credit card rewards points balance, just like when you make everyday purchases using your card. By using B2Bpay, you earn reward points at the full rate when you pay all billers including the ATO, government agencies, telco, insurance and utilities. This means you will earn more points using B2Bpay than if you paid these billers directly because with many cards, you earn no or half as many points when you pay these billers directly. Qantas Points; Your business can earn 1 Qantas Point for every $100 paid through B2Bpay. In addition, earn up to 3 Qantas Points for every $1.50 paid with our large network of Bonus Billers*. These points are displayed on your ‘Payment History’ and ‘Points History’ pages and your current points total is displayed in the top right of every page. When you receive payments, you and your customers earn Qantas points every time they pay you. In addition, your customers earn credit card rewards points. View a list of B2Bpay Bonus Partners.
How do I redeem my points?
Credit card reward points earned by using B2Bpay can be redeemed through the issuer of your card. Check with your card issuer for your redemption options which typically include flights, transfer to airline loyalty points, goods and gift vouchers. Qantas Points earned using B2Bpay will be automatically credited to your linked Qantas Business Rewards account within 90 days of your eligible spend once your ABN registered with Qantas Business Rewards is also saved in your B2Bpay customer profile or entered online when making a payment. You can transfer your Qantas Points from Qantas Business Rewards to any Qantas Frequent Flyer account.
Why should I connect my accounting software?
Once you connect your accounting software, you can see all your bills (approved and awaiting payment) in B2Bpay via a direct feed from Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks. All payments you make are automatically recorded in Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks to save you time and data entry.
How do I connect my accounting software?
Once you login to the B2Bpay Customer portal, just click on the Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks link to connect your software to B2Bpay. What are the benefits of receiving payments from my customers who use  B2Bpay?
B2Bpay is an easy and convenient way for your customers to pay your bill and, because your customers can pay using their credit card, you can get paid faster and have fewer bad debts. What’s more, you earn Qantas Points every time your customers pay you. There’s no cost to you to receive payments through B2Bpay and you may even save money through reduced processing effort and other administration efficiencies. When you connect your accounting software, all payments that customer make are automatically recorded in Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks. If you wish, you can become a Bonus Biller and be promoted to B2Bpay users so you can attract new customers and reward and retain existing customers. Do I need to register to get paid by B2Bpay?
There’s no need to register just to receive payments through B2Bpay, however we encourage you to become a B2Bpay biller to take advantage of all the B2Bpay benefits including your own secure login to keep track of payments and access comprehensive, downloadable reports. There is no cost to receive payments from B2Bpay unless you choose to absorb the processing fees. We also encourage you to contact us to discuss the benefits of becoming a B2Bpay Bonus Partner and how you can make B2Bpay available to your customers through your own branded web payment portal. What is a B2Bpay Bonus Partner?
A B2Bpay Bonus Partner is a biller that provides additional benefits to their customers simply for using B2Bpay to pay their bills. Becoming a B2Bpay Bonus Partner is a great way for your business to be promoted and build customer loyalty, generate additional revenue and acquire new customers. How do I earn Qantas Points?
You will earn 1 Qantas Point for every $20 paid to you by Visa or Mastercard. Just connect your accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) to add a Pay Now button to your invoices.

By connecting your accounting software and adding a B2Bpay ‘Pay Now’ button to your Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks invoices, every time your customers pay, their payments will be automatically recorded in Xero MYOB or QuickBooks. This saves you time, data entry a d reconciliation hassles.
How do I connect my accounting software?

How do I know which customers have made payments?
Payments reconciled to you by BPAY will be deposited to your bank account in the exact same way as if the customer paid you directly and will include the customer’s unique BPAY Customer Reference Number. Payments reconciled to you by EFT will be deposited to your bank account individually (using the reference provided by your customer). This will enable you to quickly and easily reconcile the amounts you receive from B2Bpay. If you have connected your accounting software, all payments that customers make are automatically recorded in Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks. What if I don’t (or don’t want to) accept credit card or debit card?
No problem. B2Bpay enables your customers to pay using their credit card even if you don’t accept credit or debit card directly. This is because B2Bpay accepts card payments and passes on the payment to you by BPAY or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)…at no cost to you. With B2Bpay your customers have an additional payment option without the need for you to change any of your existing invoicing and payment processes.
Does it cost me to receive payments from B2Bpay?
No. There’s no cost to receive payments through B2Bpay – unless you choose to absorb the processing fees.
If you wish, you can choose to become a B2Bpay Silver,Gold or Black Bonus Biller. This means that you are promoted as a biller where customers can earn Bonus points when they pay you. This is a great way for you to reward / retain existing customers and attract new customers who want to be rewarded. You fund Qantas Points only to customers who pay using B2Bpay.
